Brief Overview:


As a Development Manager, you will act as a servant leader, responsible for building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You will drive technical decisions, oversee project delivery, and ensure that our remote teams are aligned and motivated

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of developers, fostering an environment of high performance and collaboration.
  • Serve as a servant leader, supporting the team’s needs and helping to remove obstacles to their success.
  • Provide technical guidance and direction for AWS-based projects, making informed decisions to drive success.
  • Solve complex technical challenges and advocate for best practices in architecture and development.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
  • Implement and support Scrum and Kanban methodologies to facilitate efficient workflows and team dynamics.
  • Use JIRA and JQL to manage tasks and track progress.
  • Maintain strong communication with team members and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across all levels.
  • Foster a culture of feedback and open communication within the team.
  • Promote best practices in CI/CD and automated testing to enhance the development process and product quality.
  • Encourage team members to pursue professional development opportunities and stay current with industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as servant leader, building high achieving teams
  • Technical leader for AWS teams, able to solve and drive technical decisions for the team
  • Strong communications skill
  • Independent, self-motivated
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Experienced with Scrum, Kanban methodologies
  • Experienced with JIRA, JQL, Excel
  • Experienced as a developer
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, AWS
  • PMP a plus
