Role Overview
As a Research Marketing Manager at Deciphex, you will be a key to our commercial marketing efforts. You will work under the guidance of our Commercial Marketing Director to execute a wide range of marketing initiatives. You will help shape and implement strategies that drive our business forward. You will ramp our digital growth marketing and lead generation strategies. This is a unique opportunity to contribute across various marketing functions, from content creation, lead management to PR and market research.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead top-of-funnel lead generation efforts, including MQL management, lead creation, and reporting.
- Conduct A/B testing and leverage data analytics to refine and implement effective marketing strategies.
- Manage and execute all marketing campaigns primarily through Hubspot.
- Identify opportunities for business scaling and customer acquisition; address market threats and opportunity gaps.
- Lead digital marketing campaigns through paid search and social media; enhance referral marketing programs.
- Support content marketing initiatives by creating diverse content types and employing SEO strategies to boost organic visibility.
- Manage marketing support tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics) and coordinate with sales for lead follow-up.
- Formulate PR plans, manage media relations, pitch story ideas, and track media coverage.
- Participate in product launches, market research, and customer insight gathering to inform commercial strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ marketing experience working for a B2B startup or scale-up.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams in a high-pressure environment.
- A strong working understanding of inbound marketing and demand generation to generate sales leads and build pipelines.
- Knowledge of lead/opportunity attribution management.
- Experience tracking cost of customer acquisition data.
- Proactive personality that makes projects happen on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot certification preferred) and familiarity with digital marketing platforms.
- Be highly detail-oriented and well-organised to efficiently manage various priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and comfort with fast-paced change.
- Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to design and create engaging email marketing campaigns (automated and broadcast) and optimise based on their performance.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and travel for work as needed.
Desirable Traits
- A scientific background in the Pharmaceutical industry or life sciences, ideally.
- Experience in digital growth marketing, lead generation, and content marketing.
- Commercial mindset with an ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Confident and responsive, with a knack for building customer relationships and working well in team settings.
Work Environment
- Flexible Office/remote-based role, with options to work from home in Ireland or the UK.
- Occasional travel to Deciphex offices and customer sites, as required.
- Collaborative work with customers and associates across the US and Continental Europe.
