About this Role (Responsibilities):

  • Monitor all cases received by Diagnexia UK
  • Communicate with customers when there are delays with cases to provide or request updates or additional materials
  • Respond to queries from Customers and other team members (including the pathologist team)
  • Escalate technical issues to other team members when appropriate
  • QA all samples, transcription of data.
  • Register and maintain referring clinician and patient information related to a given referred case and institute
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR/CQC regulations, and maintain patient records in accordance with all data protection protocols
  • Respond to email tickets requesting assistance
  • Basic troubleshooting of customer support problems
  • Track and document technical problems
  • Comply with applicable health and safety requirements
  • Assist with Research Pathology technical support (when required)
  • Occasionally assist with out of office hours support (when required)

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A-level (or working towards achieving) in a science subject required.
  • Good customer service skills and ability to work with various groups (internal and external customer base).
  • Good time keeping skills and ability to meet timelines
  • Experience in transcription of documents, microsoft word, excel.
  • Organised and diligent with activities
  • Motivated and independent worker
  • Proactive with improving document control and training process.
  • Willing to learn and be proactive in developing skills & experience
  • Scientific diploma, or relevant certification a distinct advantage.
  • Basic IT troubleshooting experience is an advantage
  • Experience with digital pathology is an advantage
  • Experience working with an electronic documentation system is highly desirable.

Work Environment:

  • This position is a remote role. Travel may be required on an ad hoc basis to other offices in the UK.
  • You may be requested to work overtime for special program events.
  • Working Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
