About this Role

The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing and supporting the day-to-day operations of the sales team to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process. This role involves managing sales data, creating and implementing sales strategies, and supporting the sales team with tools and resources to meet their goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales processes, and a proficiency in CRM administration and other sales operations tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Funnel Management:
    • Collaborate and build strong relationships with the Sales team to drive accurate and up-to-date information within the CRM system (Hubspot).
    • Consistent monitoring and maintenance of data quality and integrity in the sales pipeline, identifying and resolving any discrepancies with Sales.
    • Implement processes and tools to improve funnel hygiene and reporting accuracy
    • Management and development of CRM automation and workflows for continuous improvement and optimization
  • Sales Strategy, Planning & Analysis:
    • Collaborate with Senior Sales Leads to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives, including annual quota setting & planning.
    • Sales Process Optimization
    • Prepare regular reports and dashboards on sales performance, forecasts, and trends.
    • Lead the provision of training, coaching, and support to the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
    • Own the preparation and training of Sales Processes and CRM “Standard Work” (Operating procedures) for existing and new hires in collaboration with the HR team
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, finance, legal, product, HR and customer service teams to ensure alignment and support of sales initiatives.
    • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to facilitate communication and collaboration.
    • Lead any Strategic and Optimisation projects as may be required to further drive improvements in our Sales and CRM processes and practices, including automation of reporting.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related field.
  • CRM experience essential (Hubspot preferable), with experience with sales analytics tools.
  • Proven track record of improving sales processes and driving sales performance.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across teams.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other relevant software
