Founded in Dublin in 2017, Deciphex has scaled rapidly to a team of over 150 people and counting who are providing software solutions to address the pathology gap in research pathology and clinical areas. Responsibilities:

  • Build applications that adapt and work well across different devices and screen sizes
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Write well-structured code that is easy to maintain and understand
  • Collaborate with product management to refine UX Design concepts
  • Translate UX Design concepts into web UI
  • Create unit tests and contribute to test automation
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Complete all mandatory company training and job specific training required for the role, including ISMS, GLP, DocuSign, SDLC as applicable
  • You will have shown leadership skills in previous positions and are keen to develop these skills further
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
  • You bring a sense of urgency to the work that you do and are able to execute on tasks by using your initiative.
  • You enjoy innovating and bringing new ideas to the table
  • You like to have autonomy in your role and the independence to manage your own time and workload.
  • You are highly collaborative and enjoy working with lots of different teams and people.
  • You have great written and oral English language skills.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor in Computer Science Degree or equivalent Computer Science specialization
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a JavaScript Engineer
  • Expert with Web Image Viewing technologies (similar to OpenStreetMap, geotiff.js viewers)
  • Experienced in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS and a modern framework such as ReactJs or Angular
  • Experienced in responsive and reactive web applications
  • Experience in implementing a UI from design / UX Figma designs.
  • Experience in different forms of request authentication (JWT, Session Cookie)
  • Experience in JS Testing Frameworks such as vitest, jest, cypress.
  • Experience with GLP regulations or software will be a ‘distinct advantage’
  • Experience with NX will be a ‘distinct advantage’
