The Role

The role involves collaborating with multiple business teams including Business Development, Account management, Innovation, Product, Wholesale and Finance, to create innovative, mutually beneficial commercial propositions to win new partnerships and ultimately grow the bottom line. In this role you will focus on assessing, and creating the business cases for new business opportunities, while working with the Commercial Strategy Director to develop strategic growth plans and commercial strategies for the businesses. This role offers significant exposure to the leadership team, allowing the individual to stand out and ultimately progress within the company.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Lead commercial proposals from a commercial strategy and pricing perspective and own the creation of the business cases.
  • Act as a trusted partner to the Business Development, Account Management and Product teams.
  • Present pricing proposals and business cases at our governance committee for approval
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure business cases and commercial proposals are completed on time, allowing sufficient time for review.
  • Create pricing strategies, and financially assess the viability and return from new products and features.
  • Assist in improving our processes to help simplify and create efficiencies, including automating processes as far as is possible.
  • Develop thought leadership on selected topics of commercial and strategic relevance for the company.
