About the role
Reporting to the Director of Analytics, as a Data Analyst at CitySwift, you will be a key member of the Analytics Team, working closely with data, application and product managers. You will be integral in completing in-depth technical analysis and presenting results both internally and externally.
Key responsibilities
- Explore massive amounts of data including geographical data and perform large-scale analysis to extract useful insights
- Create and maintain reporting dashboards that track key metrics
- Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business and our customers by effectively communicating results to cross functional groups
- Expand our data warehouse with clean data ready for analysis
- Suggest improvements in the tools and techniques to help scale the team
Key skills
Essential
- 3 years experience in a Data Analyst role ideally within a fast paced, B2B environment.
- Hold a BS, MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineer, Operations Research, or related technical field from an academic institution.
- Experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches (or equivalent).
- Highly proficient in SQL.
- Comfortable working with GIT and Python.
- Proven ability to extract insights from data.
- Effective communicator who can clearly explain complex topics to a wide variety of audiences.
- Experience working with Data warehouses especially cloud based platforms such as GCP.
Desirable
- Knowledge of data modelling.
- Looker and LookML experience.
